On Saturday, November 1st at 1pm, we invite all cellists and those who love cello music to come watch renowned cellist and pedagogue Dana McComb lead a masterclass for University of Virginia cello students. UVA cellists Shruthy Rajkumar, Elliot Renenger, and Cameron Spears will be performing music by Bach, Cassadó, and Ligeti. This session will be held in Old Cabell Hall room 107, and is open to all. Professor McComb currently teaches at Virginia Commonwealth University and has held faculty positions at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto, as well as at Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory.For more information, please visit: https://music.virginia.edu/cello-masterclass-dana-mccomb
