Celestial Sanctuary are here to firmly stamp their boot into your skull and make their own unique mark on the future of DEATH METAL… Formed in 2019, Celestial Sanctuary burst onto the scene with their brutal blend of old school death metal brought into the modern era. Pulling influence from bands like Carcass, Dying Fetus and Cannibal Corpse then injecting their own fetid flavour into the genre.
Having played and toured with bands like Obituary, Gatecreeper, Frozen Soul & Undeath they’ve proven the U.K. has a new band that can go toe-to-toe with their stateside counterparts and makes CELESTIAL SANCTUARY ones to watch for anyone who considers themselves a true fan of EXTREME METAL!! Celestial Sanctuary released their sophomore album ‘Insatiable Thirst For Torment’ on Church Road Records in August 2023.
