Join members of RASC NB and the Saint John Astronomy Club inside the Irving Nature Park for an evening of observing the celestial gems of the autumn sky on Saturday, November 8, between 6:00 and 8:30 pm at the Irving Nature Park. Saturn will be displaying its rings edge-on, there might still be two comets visible, and we will be between the peaks of two moderate meteor showers. With the Summer constellations in the West and Winter constellations on the rise, we will see deep sky gems such as the Ring Nebula, the Andromeda Galaxy and the Pleiades star cluster before the bright Moon demands attention when it rises at 7:30. Several amateur astronomers with various telescopes or binoculars will be your guides and answer your questions.
