About this Event
Organist Jason Klein-Mendoza (Director of Music at St. James' South Pasadena) presents the first public recital on the church's BRAND NEW Cornel Zimmer/Walker organ. The program will include music by Bach, Elmore, Franck, Harris, Price, Sweelinck, Willan's monumental "Introduction, Passacaglia and Fugue" - and Jason will be joined by the Choir of St. James' in a piece by Herbert Howells.
During the concert, the organ will be blessed - and officially receive her name.
The concert will be followed by a simple reception.
The event is FREE and child friendly. All are welcome!
