A Spring of Milestones Kip McGrath Gateshead EastAs the first signs of spring begin to brighten our days, we at Kip McGrath Gateshead East, along with our Washington and Chester le Street centres, are stepping into the season with a renewed sense of excitement, celebration, and opportunity.
This year marks two remarkable milestones for us:
🌼 10 years of Kip McGrath Gateshead East supporting children and families across the community
🌼 50 years of Kip McGrath Education worldwide, empowering young learners since 1976
To celebrate these achievements, we’re opening our doors during the spring half term, in February, for a series of special open sessions across all three centres.
Spring Open Sessions – Everyone Welcome
Families—new and existing—are invited to join us for engaging, family friendly events designed to showcase what learning at Kip McGrath is all about.
Highlights will include:
• Current students bringing a friend for a mini taster session — and any child is welcome to come along for their own mini taster session too
• Children's activities - competitions and fun learning challenges plus DIY facepainting
• Meet the teacher opportunities – parents can chat directly with qualified educators and ask any questions about their child’s learning
• Information stands for parents on how tutoring works, assessment guidance, and support available
• Exclusive offers for new assessment bookings - each child takes home a goody bag.
Our aim is to make learning approachable, enjoyable, and personalised—exactly what Kip McGrath has stood for over five decades.
