This celebration, marking 50 years of ordination and 30 years of consecration, is a significant milestone in Bishop Ackerman's life and our diocese. Bishop Ackerman served as the eighth Bishop of Quincy for nearly fifteen years, from his consecration on June 29, 1994, until his retirement on November 1, 2008. We honor and give thanks for his many years of faithfulness and service. If you are a member of the Diocese of Quincy and live in the area, please plan to attend this special event.

Following the service, you are invited to lunch in the Parish Hall, where we will continue celebrating Bishop Ackerman's life and ministry. To assist with the arrangements, please kindly RSVP to the Rev'd Canon Ed den Blaauwen, SSC. Please note that clergy are requested to vest in a cassock, surplice, and tippet for the occasion.
