The American victory at the Battle of Princeton (January 3, 1777) was one of the most consequential of the American Revolution. George Washington and his soldiers marched north from Trenton and attacked a British force south of the town. Washington's victory bolstered American morale and provided great confidence to his soldiers. This is a FREE event, thanks to the generosity of our volunteers. TerraSofta will provide pastries and waterstop supplies.
Because 2026 is the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence we propose a fun run on Sunday, Jan 4, 2026 following the path of Washington’s army after the battle of Princeton. The run will have two options. The long option (~14 miles) will start at Nassau Hall in Princeton around 10 AM and end at Colonial Park at around 12:30 (a 10 minute pace). The short option will be an out and back from Colonial Park starting around 10:30 with an optional visit to the historical marker in Millstone.
