Join us January 25th, 2025, for a Celebration of Science like no other! Celebration of Science is our annual fundraiser, and we rely on the generous support of our community to continue to Do Science.
Our event starts on the second and third floors in the World Around Us and Uniquely Human, for a cocktail hour from 6–7PM. On the second floor, you can engage with interactive exhibits such as our UPS Flight Simulator, Rocket Table, and MakerPlace. On our third floor, you’ll walk through our thought-provoking activities designed to encourage us to question our assumptions, biases, and perspectives.
At 7:15PM, the night kicks off with a message from our President & CEO, Mike Norman, and a multisensory demonstration led by our expert educators.
Dinner begins shortly after in our Riverview Room. During dinner, you’ll hear from some of our key stakeholders, learn about what our organization has accomplished in the past year, and participate in our Raise the Paddle event. This is the biggest fundraiser we have for our Annual Fund for Science, and last year, it was record-breaking! We can’t wait to see what our community can do this year.
Finally, top the night off in our Science in Play exhibit for Dessert and Afterparty. Celebrate the impact you’ve had on helping Kentucky Science Center reach our goals!
Kentucky Science Center is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Your unrestricted donations to the Annual Fund for Science help advance a statewide science literacy campaign to encourage people of all ages to explore science in everyday life.
