About this Event
Step into the glow of Saint Lucy’s Day, a beloved festival of Light celebrated across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Croatia, and Hungary.
Saint Lucy, a courageous young woman of the 3rd century, is remembered for carrying food and comfort to those in hiding, guided by a crown of candles upon her head. Her feast day, once aligned with the Winter Solstice, carries the timeless message of Light returning to the world during its darkest nights.
In this sacred gathering, we will honor her story and enter into a Bringing of the Light Ceremony. Together we will kindle candles, share in seasonal refreshment, and open to the deeper currents of illumination. As the candles shine, we attune to the Light within us, clearing the path for renewed vision, guidance, and warmth through the winter season. This is a celebration of both outer tradition and inner awakening.
✨ Candles and feast refreshment will be provided. ✨
