Would you join me at this celebration of my name change? Over the last year, I have been going through a gender transition process. March 1st will mark the point that I shift to using the name Jessica instead of Jeff.The worship service will begin promptly at 3pm. Parking may be tight, so please plan to arrive early. For those who want to sing in a pick-up choir, come at 2:00pm for a brief rehearsal. Rostered ministers / clergy will gather at 2:30pm and are invited to vest and process (color of the day is white). There will be communion, and everyone is welcome to receive. The service will be followed by a reception in the fellowship hall.
I would be honored to have you come! Whether I know you from Good Shepherd, other church circles, the town of Westborough, my home neighborhood, LGBTQ communities, fellow hockey players, or somewhere else, I would love to have you there in person to help celebrate. If you cannot make it in person, the service will be livestreamed through Good Shepherd's facebook page and Youtube page.
