We are delighted to invite you to a celebration of mathematics at the Lie–Størmer Center! The event will feature a special talk by Professor Marcus du Sautoy, Simonyi Professor for the Public Understanding of Science at the University of Oxford. Renowned for making deep and beautiful mathematics accessible to a wide audience, he is the author of The Music of the Primes, the presenter of BBC series such as The Story of Maths, and a leading voice at the intersection of mathematics, symmetry, and AI. His contributions have been recognized with an OBE and election as a Fellow of the Royal Society.We will also celebrate the Lie–Størmer Center’s newly awarded funding from the Trond Mohn Foundation — and of course, there will be cake! 🍰
