About this Event
As the founder of Legacy LA, Lou Calanche set out to fulfill a dream to return to her community to build an organization that would ensure that all children living in Ramona Gardens have the opportunities and resources they need to graduate HS, have college access, and reach their full potential. Today, Legacy LA is an anchor youth development organization in Los Angeles, serving 350 youth annually, and continuing to create pipelines for future generations. Lou has inspired hundreds of youth, staff, and residents who will continue to lead change across the city. Join us in celebrating her legacy at Legacy LA, share a memory, and enjoy some delicious appetizers made by Legacy LA's Mujeres Poderosas.
