When my mom discussed what she wanted for her funeral, she did not want a normal service in a funeral home. anyone who knew my mother knows, she loved a good party. She would spend months making plans, making her lists, and making sure she had the perfect menu. In true mom fashion, we are having a Celebration of life party for her in lue of funeral services. We will be in the upstairs of the Eagles so you do not need to be a member to come. There will be a dj and karaoke. I will have a food buffet. (I better get started on that menu and lists). You can not bring alcohol in, but there will be a cash bar. If anyone wants to bring anything, post so we don't have too many of the same thing. For all of my out of town family and friends, let me know if you will need a hotel room. There will be a block created with discounted rates for anyone coming in to town for this. I just need a general head count.
