Celebrate our country's freedom with a community-wide fireworks event at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., on Thursday, July 4, 2024.5:30 p.m.: Food vendors open
6 - 7 p.m.: Music by Bruce Blakemore
7:05 - 7:30 p.m.: Tumbles Gymnastics Led by Gage Foster
7:30 p.m.: Celebration of Freedom Program, including veterans’ recognition
Guest speaker: U.S. Army Sgt. Jake Norotsky with the Wounded Warrior Project
Local groups assisting with the program include:
• Bolivar Boy Scouts Troop #45
• Bolivar Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #66
• Matilda Polk Campbell Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
Dusk (about 9:20): Fireworks
In the event of inclement weather, the fireworks only will be held the next evening with favorable weather. Information about any changes due to weather will be posted here and at bolivarrotary.club.
