Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs
November 19 is the International Day of Women Entrepreneurship, promoted by the UN, this date aims to make women visible and continue contributing to female empowerment in the world.
Throughout history women have been at the forefront of business and work, leading in different areas, yet more recently their presence is more visible in these times.
The initiative to commemorate this day was created in 2014 by the American entrepreneur Wendy Diamond (Women's Entrepreneurship Day), one of the best-selling authors in the U.S. and a prominent television personality.
The purpose of the celebration is to raise awareness of the obstacles and complications that exist in the entrepreneurial and financial ecosystem today, and to continue contributing to the elimination of gender inequalities.
Women's Entrepreneurship Day is currently celebrated in 144 countries, 110 universities and international schools, with the aim of inspiring the four billion women on the planet.

El 19 de noviembre es el Día Internacional de la Mujer Emprendedora, promovido por la ONU, esta fecha tiene como objetivo visibilizar a las mujeres y seguir contribuyendo al empoderamiento femenino en el mundo.
A lo largo de la historia las mujeres han estado al frente de los negocios y del trabajo, liderando en diferentes ámbitos, sin embargo, más recientemente su presencia es más visible en estos tiempos.
