About this Event

Registration is not required for those who only plan to join us for visitation at 9:00am. Mass begins at 10:30am. Masks and Physical distancing required.

AUDREY M. CALDWELL, the third of her parents’ four children, grew up in Prince Frederick and Annapolis, MD. She was married to Roland J. Caldwell, Sr., for 60 years, pausing her career as a licensed practical nurse to raise their children. When her youngest child became school age, Audrey returned to work caring for the elderly. Throughout her life, including after retiring from full-time nursing, Audrey was a shining example of faith in action. She grew up in Calvert County’s Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church, later becoming Catholic and actively involved in Washington, DC’s Our Lady Queen of Peace and St. Thomas More Catholic Churches. Service in her beloved churches included almost everything from answering phones, to active membership in the Sodality and CCD, to becoming a Charter Member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies’ Auxiliary 2000, Sister Thea Bowman Chapter and the Ladies of Grace.

When she departed this life on December 24, 2021, Audrey left behind to cherish her memory and carry out her legacy, five children, seven grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, her brother Thomas Simms, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, as well as dear friends and Godchildren. Audrey was predeceased by her parents, her husband of sixty years, Roland J. Caldwell, Sr., their infant son George Caldwell, their son-in-love Robert Milner, her brother Russell Simms, and her sister Madeline Savoy.

WHY REGISTER?

MASKS and PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Required. Please maintain at least 6 feet of distance between yourself and others who are not members of your household. Hand sanitizer will be available.

VISITATION
