It’s been a year! 🎉🎉🎉On Saturday 23 November, you're invited to a community open day and celebration, with fun activities on all 10 courts for the entire whānau. It's our one-year anniversary event, and we're celebrating with a fantastic giveaway for our guests on the day.
Everyone attending Christchurch Netball’s one year anniversary open day this Saturday 23 November will go in the draw to WIN one of two “Summer Escape” prizes:
- Two TranzAlpine Scenic Plus tickets with Great Journeys NZ
- A family (2 + 3) Gondola and Tram pass with Christchurch Attractions
We hope to see schools, clubs and sports from across the city, celebrating with netball and friends at Ngā Puna Wai.

From midday to 2pm, courts will be activated by different sports, encouraging families to have a go and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Top Christchurch Netball players will be on hand to help tamariki find their way around the court, shoot hoops and pick up a few new skills on the day!
People of all ages can connect with the sporting community, and learn more about "Volunteering for Wellbeing."
This is truly an event for Ōtautahi - no sporting experience required. It's a great chance to have a look around, meet clubs and volunteers from across the city, and learn more about what this all-weather facility offers.
