Music has been a huge part of the Spar for three and a half decades and has been one of Kathy's favorite contributions. She has been a staple on Sunday music nights since the beginning, at first behind the bar and now sitting on the other side enjoying the music and sipping her schooner of Bodi. As some people may have noticed, she hasn't been attending every Sunday like she used to. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer this year and it has made her a bit less active. She has remained very positive through this process and wants to continue to enjoy the things she loves most... family, friends, the Spar, and music. So with that in mind we are planning to celebrate 35 years of live music at the Spar with some of her favorite bands. We would like to invite you to come celebrate with us.
