About this Event
Our Historic African American Bus and Walking Tours offer a number of opportunities to witness significant sites from the 19th and 20th centuries. The goal of our tours is to empower participants to learn more about Dallas’s African American heritage.
This 4 hour tour explores Tenth Street and Joppa, information about William Brown Miller’s cabin and plantation mansion, Millermore, and those Miller enslaved in Oak Cliff, including Arch and Charlotte Miller, plus additional sites.
The tour will begin at RBDallas's office at 1408 N. Washington Ave., Dallas, Texas 75204. The bus will depart at 10:00 am sharp, so please arrive early to leave time for checking in and finding a seat.
