About this Event
The event will inspire actionable discussions on concrete steps social innovators, implementers, funders and system orchestrators across all sectors can take to advance inclusion, equity, and accessibility I a rapidly-changing world.
1.3 billion people worldwide live with a disability—1 in 6 of us. Yet, critical sectors such as gender equity, social rights, health, and beyond will not achieve social change impact at scale and systems level if people with disabilities remain invisible and overlooked.
We invite leaders, innovators, and experts from all sectors to come together for an engaging "talk show" style event spotlighting the inaugural cohort of Skoll Disability Inclusion Leaders. Disability leaders from diverse countries will showcase their experiences, insights, and transformative work for systems change across a variety of sectors, including health, education, and technology. Crucially, they will demonstrate how their work leads to the greater impact and reach of large-scale social change work.
In groups of four, the Disability Inclusion Leaders will take centre stage to showcase their experiences, insights, and transformative work. Following the structured component, there will be an open networking opportunity to deepen connections and further explore collaboration.
