Word Vancouver's 30th year opens at Museum of Vancouver, hosted by Tamara Taggart, with readings, music and comedy.About this Event
The official opening event for this year’s Word Vancouver festival will be an evening of readings, music, laughter, and mingling! The evening will begin with an intimate reading and Q&A from 6:00 to 6:30 pm with UBC Library’s Inaugural Writer-in-Residence, Tsering Yangzom Lama, We Measure the Earth with Our Bodies (Penguin Random House). This pre-show reading is ticketed separately. The admission cost includes: entry into the Museum of Vancouver before and after the event, one drink, and a book. Light refreshments will be served.
