SCORE in Communities is proud to present Celebrate Black History - Honoring the Life & Legacy of Venture Smith! Join us at the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia for an educational event filled with history, culture, and celebration. Learn about the remarkable life of Venture Smith, a prominent figure in Black history by Susi Ryan (descendant) who shares his story by displaying her handmade quilts. This celebration will include several musical selections by Richmond High School of the Arts Bulldog Chorale. This event is a great opportunity to honor and commemorate the contributions of Venture and learn about the impact that he had on shaping history.
