To celebrate Aldo Leopold, deemed the father of wildlife ecology and modern conservation, the JOSHUA Environmental Justice Task Force invites you to be a part of a reading of Aldo's "A Sand County Almanac." This is a public reading for those who would like to attend, free of charge. What you can expect: activities for kids, snacks and light refreshments, and environmental organizations sharing their information. If you are an environmental organization who would like to share your events and information at this event, please reply to this email! There are a few spots available for organizations to set up a table and distribute materials. We are also seeking volunteers (any age) who would like to read to the audience. Please share with your friends, loved ones, and especially your kids whom we are trying to engage on this important day! Volunteers will receive a free copy of "A Sand County Almanac."
