May 28, 2023 at 11:00 AMJoin us in celebration of AAPI Heritage Month! We are hosting this event in partnership with Quill Hawk Publishing and authors that celebrate AAPI Stories. We want to encourage our guests and local book lovers to spend a fun morning at the museum engaging in conversations, listening to excerpt readings, and supporting these amazing authors.
Amy M. Le is a Vietnam War survivor and Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) warrior. She is the award-winning author of the Snow trilogy and is the founder of Quill Hawk Publishing, a woman-owned, Asian American company that helps writers indie publish their books while amplifying diverse voices through storytelling.
Patrick Greenwood is a podcaster, author of Sunrise in Saigon, blogger, ghostwriter, and founder of Cyclewriter 3 Espresso (veteran-owned)! A true believer in listening to one’s passion, he began writing in early 2020 based on several trips he made while cycling in various countries. He will be visiting from California.
Eileen Hobbs grew up in Thailand as the daughter of missionaries. She is the award-winning author of The Heath Cousins series which includes five books: The Moonstone Cave, The Kingsgate Bridge, The Crystal Canyon, The Ruby Lantern, and The Silver Statue.
We will be opening one hour early (at 11:00 AM) to allow for a quieter start to the morning and a calmer backdrop for readings. There will be both child and adult reading level books present.
