Are you a Scout and/or a Sailor? You're invited to join us in celebrating 50 years of Lake Ginninderra Sea Scouts at our Regatta on the 1st of March 😃 We will be hosting a range of sailing races, marathon & sprint style, out of the LGSS Scout Hall on Saturday 1st March to celebrate our 50 years of LGSS 🥳 Entry is $20 per boat for the 4-6 races planned for across the day with all funds going towards the LGSS Water Activities Program that helps introduce and create water based opportunities for youth members ⛵🛶
Schedule for Regatta (subject to change)
0900 - Registration & Rigging
1000 - Skipper Brief
1100-1230 - Marathon Race
1400-1630 - Back to back sprint races
1800 - 1930 - Sunset Marathon Races
ASAP after racing - Fundraiser BBQ & Presentation
We are aiming to host 3 divisions:
Division 1 - Dinghies with a yardstick less than 119
Division 2 - Dinghies with a yardstick more than 119
Division 3 - Multihulls

Eligibility & Entry - All Scouting Sailors with access to a sailboat, or a member of a Canberra Sailing Clubs affiliated with Australian Sailing ⛵ While LGSS will not be inspecting boats, it does reserve the right to disqualify any boats it deems unsafe or not sea-worthy
