About this Event

Join us for an evening of healing, connection, and personal transformation as we delve into sacred practices to help you decolonize your body, emotions, and mind.

Practices include: kirtan, music & sound healing, mindful movement / breath & energy practices on chairs, and a wisdom talk - all to integrate your multidimensional being. Kirtan, in Sanskrit, means, “sacred soul song / devotional singing”.


  • Experience the depth of Indian healing arts and Indigenous culture.


  • Enjoy delicious healthy food from a variety of vendors before and after the workshop.


  • Engage in mindfulness practices from the Yogic and Classical Tantric traditions that will leave you feeling rejuvenated, inspired and empowered!

Before and after the workshop, join us for an additional 1.5 hours of delicious food and heartfelt connections in the "Make a New Friend Corner"!

Yogacharini Maitreyi

Yogacharini Maitreyi is an international senior teacher, corporate trainer, practical mystic and founder of Arkaya Foundation. For over 26 years she has been dedicated to  sharing and teaching a full-spectrum, decolonized approach to Yoga, mindfulness, traditional Tantra and expansive life principles. Her grandfather was her first guru (Lakshmi Narasimha lineage) and then she studied and served in the Shivananda and Ananda ashram for many years.

Maitreyi facilitates a variety of online programs through the Arkaya school, including the 500-hour Self-Awareness Yoga & Tantra Teacher Training and a weekly drop in Community Class and Satsangh. All are welcome. To learn more, click here.

Neeraja Aptikar

Neeraja Aptikar, Hindustani Vocalist, a Performer and a Teacher is trained in the Gwalior and Kirana Gharana Styles under well-known Gurus, Sangeet Ratna Pandit Shivaji Rao Bharati and Professor Jayashree Ranade, pune. She is trained in Classical, Semi Classical and Light Music in many languages and has been Performing and Teaching Music for decades for many years in India, US, Canada. She is the recipient of many AWARDS and has collaborated with Canadian Musicians on 11 ALBUMS in World Music. neerajaaptikarmusic.com
