COLLAGE WORKSHOP: Join the Worcestershire Poet Laureate, Freddie Barker, and founder of AccessAbility Arts, DK, for a hands-on collage-making workshop at Script Haven on Wednesday, 20th November. This session is a drop-in between 1pm and 4pm.
The workshop is free to attend, no tickets required. Basic craft supplies will be provided. However, participants are welcome to bring their own photos, embellishments, and tools if they’d like to add a personal touch.
Celebrate You: a NEW publication celebrating disabled creativity and identity.
About the Project:
From August 2024 to January 2025, AccessAbility Arts (@accessabilityarts) and the Worcestershire Poet Laureate (@litfestworcs) will be collaborating with our disabled peers to create a joyful and radiant mini pamphlet. And YOU are invited to contribute!
We’ll be including poetry and short form creative writing, articles, and visual arts in Celebrate You. No prior experience of publication or writing is required: we’re open to working with artists from all walks of life.
Celebrate You are also working in collaboration with Speak Volumes Festival (@speakvolumesfestival) - so published works will also be featured at a creative exhibition for World Poetry Day 2025 in Worcester City Centre!
