Celebrate Wyoming Day on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Wyoming Capitol as we commemorate the 156th anniversary of the Women's Suffrage Act. Part of the state’s preparations for America’s 250th anniversary, the event will honor Wyoming’s pioneering legacy as the first government in the world to recognize women’s right to vote and hold public office. Presentations will take place in the Historic Supreme Court, the room where, 20 years after the territorial legislature passed the act and Governor John Campbell signed it into law, Wyoming's constitutional convention was held and suffrage was enshrined into the state's Constitution. Commemorate the milestone, reflect on the pioneering legacy that shaped the Equality State, and honor the people who made it possible.1:00-2:00 p.m. | “An Afternoon with Esther,” performance by the League of Women Voters of Cheyenne
