About this Event

Celebrate Women is CFUW Sudbury's annual fundraiser, featuring a Canadian female author speaking about her latest book. This year, Claire Cameron will speak about "How to Survive a Bear Attack: A memoir".

Claire Cameron is an award winning author and journalist, outdoor adventurer and former instructor for Outward Bound, teaching mountaineering, climbing and white-water rafting. She has also led many canoe trips in Algonquin Park.

Her book: β€œHow to Survive a Bear Attack” is a beautiful, poignant and moving memoir about grief, family, cancer, the wilderness, animals and so much more. The book will be available at the event for $30 (tax included).
