About this Event
Join our stewardship team for Cedar Planting and Cocoa on the Winter Solstice! This is our first official monthly stewardship work party at Circle Creek since the completion of the new Conservation Center.
We will have hot cocoa to sip on as we plant western redcedar to improve the riparian and forested habitats at the Circle Creek Habitat Reserve from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21.
NCLC will provide gloves and tools, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own if they have some they like to use. We’ll use planting shovels to get the young trees in the ground. Other supplies, such as boots, rain gear, water, a snack, etc., are good things to bring to help you stay comfortable for a couple hours in the field!
As a reminder, dogs are not permitted on NCLC habitat reserves.
