Celebrate Samhain with Luke Gallagher at The Tasting Room! Samhain (Sow-en) is the Celtic pagan origin of Halloween that is observed from sunset October 31st to sunset on November 1st, marking the end of summer, the end of harvest and the beginning of the Celtic New Year. And who better to help celebrate Samhain than singer-songwriter Luke Gallagher in his debut performance at the Pittsburgh Winery Tasting Room.
Luke hails from a large musical family where his love of music began at age three, performing in the family’s annual St. Patrick’s Day shows. He covers a wide variety of 90s and 2000s alternative rock and pop, along with classic hits, current favorites and a smattering of Irish tunes. His voice has a smooth, mellow and warm quality, like a glass of Pittsburgh Winery’s finest Cabernet. He counts Glen Hansard, Ed Sheeran and Ray LaMontagne among his musical influences.
A $5 "Live Music Cover Charge" will be added to guest checks during the performance which goes directly to the artist.
