In celebration of National Quilting Day on March 15, Project Comfort will be meeting for a special day of quilt-making! The quilts worked on during this day will go to Lutheran World Relief (LWR). LWR Mission Quilts creates a tangible, lasting bond between the people who lovingly assemble the quilts and neighbors worldwide who receive them in their greatest times of need.No sewing skills are required! Non-sewers can help by tying the knots that hold the quilt layers together, ironing, designing tops with precut squares, and layering the quilts. Those who wish to sew should bring their machine. Snacks, desserts, and beverages will be provided. If you plan to stay past noon, please pack your own lunch.
