About this Event
Join Jamel Rahkeera of Village Family Farms on National Honey Bee Day and take a deeper dive into urban beekeeping. You'll learn more about bees and appreciate the vital role they play in our ecosystem and food supply. It's also a chance to recognize the work of beekeepers and encourage actions that support honey bees and other crucial and often unsung pollinators. Ideas on how you can add native plant species to your own farm and gardens that support bees and other pollinators will also be shared.

**This event is outdoors on a working farm where you will be surrounded by nature. Ground and terrain may be uneven on the farm. We recommend comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat.**
This workshop will take place rain or shine. In cases of extreme weather, we will contact you 24-36 hours prior to the event if we need to cancel.
