It’s National Drive Electric Week with hundreds of events across North America promoting electric vehicles. We will hold our annual “Move2Electric” Show ‘n Shine on Sunday, September 14 at the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds on Headquarters Road (where the Saturday farmer's market and curling rink are). Local dealers of EV cars and e-bikes will provide test drives to the public. Come try out any electric car, truck, or bike, feel the quiet power, and learn about the safety, convenience, and low operating costs of driving (and riding) electric.
Volunteers from the Comox Valley Electric Vehicle Club will display their diverse collection of electric cars, e-scooters, and e-bikes. Multimedia presentations and discussions about the revolution of electric transportation will be held under cover in a large tent.
