Come celebrate the principles of Kwanzaa with us! 

The Friends of the James Brown African American Room (JBAAR) are hosting their 9th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration! We invite you to come together with neighbors and friends as we celebrate culture, unity, and the enduring strength of our community. This year, the focus is on applying the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa to everyday life!

3PM-4PM in Centennial Hall, 2nd Fl.

• An arts and crafts activity for children and families presented by STEAM URBAN

4PM-6PM in the James Brown African American Room, 2nd Fl.

• A special candle lighting ceremony presented by the Friends of the James Brown African American Room honoring the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa
• Music by Victor Daze & the Sons of Day Band
• Refreshments generously provided by the Berger Organization
