Join Friends of Mimosa Hall & Gardens on Saturday, December 28th from 7:00 - 8:30 pm for our annual Kwanzaa Celebration at UUMAN (Unitarian Universalist Metro Atlanta North) in Roswell!
We are blessed once again this year to bring you the dance and joy of Djoli Kelen, an intergenerational nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, documenting, highlighting, and advancing the transformative power of African as well as African Diaspora dance, music, and culture.
Parking is FREE for this event, and light refreshments will be served. People of all faiths and belief systems are welcome to celebrate with us!
Adults: $5 Children 10 & under: FREE
About Kwanzaa:
Kwanzaa is a holiday for families and communities to organize activities around the Nguzo Saba (The Seven Principles):

- Kujichagulia (Self-Determination)
- Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility)

Participants also celebrate with feasts (karamu), music, dance, poetry, narratives and end the holiday with a day dedicated to reflection and recommitment to The Seven Principles and other central cultural values.
