Come along to our Uxbridge campus and help celebrate International Nurses Day 2024 with us!
Our Vice Chancellor, Nick Braisby, will give an opening welcome.
Keynote speakers joining us include Lisa Elliot, Regional Director for RCN with the theme for this year's IND: The Economic Power of Care.
Followed after lunch by Grainne McPolin with Immigration and Its Contribution to the Nursing Profession, `'Journey of a Migrant Nurse`'. Gráinne is an award-winning documentary maker and radio producer and has spent many years as a nurse in frontline healthcare in Ireland and abroad.
We then have a short film: Irish Nurses in the NHS produced by Tom McGorrian, who has a background in Broadcast and Business TV production, whose main area of expertise is documentaries.
Refreshments and lunch will all be provided so please do join us for what promises to be a rewarding day.
