On November 9, Celebrate Indigenous History with two special programs at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation: 🔍 ARTIFACTS IN FOCUS | 12-2 p.m.
Set your own pace as you take a self-guided walk to four highlighted artifacts and dive deeper into the Indigenous stories behind them. From presidential vehicles to stagecoaches, learn how these objects represent important moments in Native American history. This tour begins in the Museum Plaza.
🪈 MUSICAL PERFORMANCE | 2-3 p.m.
A flute circle is a community gathering of musicians who come together to learn and connect through the music and traditions of Native American-style flute and other instruments. Enjoy a performance in the Museum Plaza by the Huron River Flute Circle, which is based in Flat Rock, Michigan.
