Nido Early School Melbourne Square is excited to invite the community to its Grandparents’ Day celebration an event dedicated to honouring the invaluable role grandparents play in the lives of their grandchildren. This special gathering will take place on Friday 25th October from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at 97-101 Kavanagh St Southbank.
Grandparents’ Day embodies Nido Early School’s core philosophy of nurturing family relationships and fostering community involvement in early childhood education. “We’re excited to welcome our Nido families and the wider community to celebrate Grandparents Day” said Isabella Mazengarb Service Manager at Nido Early School Melbourne Square. “Grandparents play an integral role in a child's upbringing and this event allows them to engage and participate in their grandchild’s learning journey.”
Highlights for the morning will include storytelling sessions creative workshops and a hands-on cooking demonstration led by Nido’s Chef Ivy. “It’s about sharing a meal and bringing families together over food” said Chef Ivy. “The menu I’ve created is designed to be both fun for the children and nostalgic for the grandparents. We will be serving delicious Asian cuisine that reflects our multicultural community with dishes like sushi and rice paper rolls that everyone will enjoy” she added.
The Grandparents Day celebration reflects Nido Early School’s ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful family connections and supporting children’s development through family-centric experiences.
