About this Event
Galentine’s Day at Breast Imaging Kingston: An Empowering Girls Night Out!
We're living in our Galentine’s Day era here at Breast Imaging Kingston (BIK) and we want you to join us in celebrating the women in your life—and yourself—with a special breast health screening event!
Hosted by Dr. Doris Jabs, KHSC’s Rose of Hope Clinical Chair in Breast Health, this event welcomes women, Two-Spirit, trans, and nonbinary individuals aged 40 and older to learn more about breast health in a social setting, and (if you choose to) have your mammogram exam completed during the event.
Light refreshments, door prize giveaways, meaningful conversation, and a positive, judgment-free space round out this Galentine’s celebration where there is no pressure, just information, and support at your own pace. Whether you’re due for a mammogram or simply want to connect with experts and fellow attendees, YOU decide how you participate when you RSVP.
This in-person event, held at 820 John Marks Avenue, is a social gathering and does not include formal educational programming or structured teaching sessions. Informational resources will be available for guests to explore at their own discretion.
Please note: This is not a walk-in mammogram clinic—appointments are required. However, attendees who do not pre-schedule a mammogram for the event will have the opportunity to book future-dated mammogram appointments in-person during the event.
