About this Event
For ages 18 & up
Enjoy a festive meal as you learn a little about this Islamic holiday that is celebrated in a variety of ways by various cultures. Amirah will introduce you to her Bangladeshi traditions as you enjoy a traditional feast of grilled vegetables with a spicy dip; barbequed shrimp; tender chunks of spiced lamb with fluffy rice; and rice pudding. As Amirah shares tips, you'll sit back, relax and enjoy a delightful meal.
Missing the flavors of Bangladesh where she grew up, and with the help of family and friends, Amirah taught herself to recreate some of her favorite dishes. She won Top Chef Amateurs 2021 and is in the process of writing her first cookbook.
For ages 18 & up. 21 or older? You'll enjoy a glass of wine paired with your meal.
