Join us for a morning of exploration, community connection, and Earth Day celebration! We’ll gather at City Hall at 10:00 a.m. before taking a guided walk that highlights Norwalk’s vibrant neighborhoods, rich history, and local initiatives.
Our journey begins with an invigorating introduction to the NorWalkers weekly summer series from Jahliah Green of the Norwalk Health Department. As we make our way across East Avenue to the trail, Nancy Rosett from the Norwalk River Valley Trail (NRVT) will share exciting updates about upcoming trail projects and improvements.
Continuing our walk, we’ll head to Mill Hill, where Diane Jellerette from the Norwalk Historical Society will provide a fascinating glimpse into Norwalk’s past. Along the way, we’ll hear from Anthony Pavia of the City Hall Neighborhood Association and Justin Boehm, representing Morgan Avenue and Colonial Place, as they share insights into community efforts and local initiatives aimed at fostering neighborhood pride and sustainability.
Our walk will conclude at the Norwalk Earth Day 2025 event on the Green, where festivities, local vendors, and educational activities await!
