Celebrate Earth Day at the Wildlife Sanctuarywith a day full of FREE activities!
Sunday, April 27, 2025
Activities will be held throughout the Sanctuary starting at
12:00pm - 4:00pm.
All outside events will take place rain or shine.
Scheduled activities include:

*Exciting Enrichment: make something for wildlife in your yard!
*Color pages!
*Plant some seeds for a monarch butterfly garden!
*Paintings created by some of your favorite Animal Ambassadors for sale to support the Friends of Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary
* Check out our 2 sponsorship programs: Wildlife Champions to support an animal in our rehabilitation program and our new sponsorship-- Trail Champions to support our onsite trail system!
12n-1p: Snake Celebration @Observation Building-- visit with our snake ambassadors: fox snake, king snake, garter snake, boa
12p-2p: Eyes on Owls @Observation Building Raptor Theatre-- get up-close with owl ambassadors
1p-2p: Terrific Turtles @Observation Building-- meet a box turtle, wood turtle, and painted turtle!
130p-2p: Wolf Feeding viewing at the Woodland Building Wolf Exhibit-- talk with staff about the wolves and watch them in action!
2p-3p: Fabulous Falcons @Observation Building Raptor Theatre-- meet some falcon ambassadors
2p-3p: Marvelous Mammals @Observation Building-- many mammals will take turns and visit with public including our woodchuck, rabbit, porcupine, and opossum!
3p-4p: Talon Talks @Observation Building Raptor Theatre-- get upclose with hawks and Victor the Vulture!
3p-4p: Super Songbirds @Observation Building-- meet our songbird ambassadors Azul the Blue Jay, Pete the Pileated woodpecker, and Raven the Raven--and learn all about them!
