About this Event

A cultural tradition from Mexico celebrates Día de Los Muertos in remembrance of the loved ones who have passed away. The community, local schools, and other organizations collaborate to share customs and traditions.

We will kick off the event with a parade of puppets that will make its way to the plaza. There will be performances by Aztec Dancers Calpulli Tlet|papalotzin, Ballet Folklórico Quetzalcóatl NYC, Ballet Folklórico Mariposas, Tecuanes San Rafael, and Mariachis Bohemio. For Families activities, there will be craft tables, a face-painter, and more.

Avenue C Plaza is located on McDonald Avenue between Church Avenue and Avenue C.
