The Catholic Cemeteries & Mortuaries of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles invite you and your family to a special Día de los Muertos (All Souls Day) on November 2, 2024, at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills, CA 91345, where all are invited to build altars dedicated to their deceased loved ones. Festivities are free and doors open at 8 a.m. Holy Mass celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Matthew Elshoff for the Our Lady of the Angels Pastoral Region will start at 10 a.m. The event will feature a blessing of altars followed by a cultural celebration for the entire family, including a wide choice of food and vendors, traditional altars in honor of the departed, art exhibit, folkloric dancers, live music, and activities for children. Join the San Fernando community to pray for the faithful departed and honor their memory at this beautiful, festive, and free celebration.
