Celebrate Alpena's POWERLIFTING WORLD CHAMPS!Seven Alpena athletes represented Alpena at the World Powerlifting Congress World Championships in Durban, South Africa.
The athletes are a part of the ‘SkellaFit’ Powerlifting team that sent seven of the 15 lifters representing America to the World Championships, made up of more than 400 lifters total.
The team, made up of Tina Robbins, Krista Hempel, Elle Bee, Katie Jones, Laura Lewis, Karen Grochowski and Crista Johnson brought home numerous World Records and first-place finishes.
