DineLA Restaurant Week returns, offering the perfect opportunity to enjoy al fresco, farm-to-table cuisine at Long Beach’s acclaimed Italian eatery, Michael’s on Naples! Celebrating 16 years as an inaugural participant, Chef Eric Samaniego presents a new specialty menu showcasing locally-sourced ingredients. Available from July 12 to July 26, the prix-fixe menu is $65 per person, with an optional wine pairing for $105 per person (plus tax and gratuity). Note that the entire table must participate in the DineLA menu. Each course features two delectable options, including:
ANTIPASTI (choose 1)
- CAPONATA E BURRATA: Roasted eggplant, peppers, golden raisins, local burrata, carta di musica cracker — paired with Frappello, Caruso Minini '20 Sicilia
- RICOTTA E FRAGOLE: Smoked ricotta, Tamai farms strawberries, aged balsamic — paired with Pinot Noir Rosé, Pash '21 Veneto
PRIMI (choose 1)
- CAVATELLI: Hand rolled pasta, corn purée, guanciale, Pecorino cheese — paired with Soave Classico, Pieropan '18 Veneto
- TRIANGOLI: Robiola and truffle filled pasta, sungold tomatoes, basil, grana cheese —paired with Nebbiolo D'Alba, Prunotto ""Occhetti" *20 Piemonte
SECONDI (choose 1)
- PORCHETTA: Rolled pork belly, creamy polenta, salsa verde — paired with Cannonau, Siddura "Erema" 21 Sardegna
- PESCE SPADA: Grilled swordfish, white bean purée, peach gremolata — paired with Etna Bianco, Tornatore '21 Sicilia
DOLCE (choose 1)
- PANNA COTTA: Chilled vanilla mousse, fresh cherries — paired with Moscato D'Asti, Marchesi di Barolo "Zagara" *22 Piemonte
- CIAMBELLA: Fried potato donut, raspberry purée — paired with Passito di Sagrantino, Bocale '15 Umbria
Michael’s on Naples will be serving their Dine LA Restaurant Week Dinner Prix-Fixe everyday from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm at their charming trattoria on Naples Island, Long Beach.
