Whether you've been dancing all day in one of the sixty Morris sides performing across Stockport Town Centre or soaking up the festival atmosphere in the audience, what better way to end the day than with a FREE ceilidh?
As part of the Joint Morris Organisations' Day of Dance 2025, hosted by Adlington Morris Men, supported by Totally Stockport and raising funds for local charity The Wellspring, this is an event not to be missed! With live music from local folk band Chimera, a pop-up bar by The Petergate Tap and street food from Snoop Dogs, an evening of lively social dancing is the perfect way to end the day. Taking over Stockport's historic Saint Mary's Church, our expert caller will guide you through all the steps you need - whether you're a seasoned ceilidh dancer or a total beginner.
Tickets are totally free, with donations to The Wellspring very welcome on the night, either by card/contactless or in cash. But act fast - spaces are limited and are likely to run out fast!.
