Cedarhurst has asked us to help run a game day. Not only are all ages welcome, but children bring a lot of joy to the residents. This will be a highly family-friendly event. Memory Care will require 1 on 1 help, so we need a minimum of 10 volunteers for us to be able to help everyone who needs it. Some of the games available are Sorry, Checkers, Connect Four, and Crazy 8's. We will be providing assistance to help them play the games. Another volunteer will be needed to lead other games like bean bag toss and basketball. These games are just some examples of the options and are subject to change. *If you are feeling under the weather, please proceed with caution. While I think policy is to wait 3-5 days, I will get full details on how to handle illnesses before coming in and post in the event discussion. If you have specific questions, feel free to message me or reach out to the organization as we want to keep everyone safe. In general, illnesses can be worse at that stage in life, so we just want to be careful and considerate.
