Join Environmental Science Center for our summer birding series along the Cedar River. This month's interactive, guided tour will be at Riverview Park. This program is designed to give beginning to avid birders a chance to explore and learn together about the birds and plants around us. We will start with an introduction on how to properly use binoculars and give tips for identifying birds by both sight and sound. We’ll share identification tips, species adaptations and the importance of providing native habitats.
Registration required for all participants. This walk is geared toward ages 13+ and travels on the paved pathways along the river. The path is mostly flat with a few small inclines.
